I was super nervous and new to aesthetics.. have been once before elsewhere .. and Nicola took so much time to reassure me .. advise me .. and it was an experience I will not be afraid to repeat. As we get older we need some guidance. My confidence in the procedure has risen due to Nicola and I can be reassured she will not do Anything she feels you don’t need. Thankyou so much. I consulted with Nicola about having Micro needling treatments. I suffer from Rosacea and have to be careful using any products on my skin, Rosacea causes redness, skin discoloration, inflammation also small bumps under the skin which I have on my forehead. I had spoken to a doctor about skin bumps and he suggested Cryosurgery treatment, a friend had this done and it left permanent red marks where the cryopen had been used another doctor said Micro needling would be effective. Nicola is very knowledgeable and discussed the benefits of Microneedling how it would improve my over all skin health, how it would smooth, firm and tone the skin and generate new collagen and skin tissue. I have to be honest I was a bit apprehensive in case it made the Rosacea worse especially the redness. I booked a block of three sessions, the treatment is completely pain free you can feel the dermapen gliding over your skin there is no pain from the small sterilized needles pricking the skin at all. Nicola explains every step of the procedure and ensures you are comfortable and relaxed through out. Results wise at the end of three sessions I am very happy, there was no need to worry about the redness becoming worse, obviously there was minor redness from the procedure but it quickly fades away. There is a massive marked reduction in bumps on forehead, the procedure did not worsen my Rosacea. The appearance and texture of my skin is very much improved even the fine lines are diminished. I would recommend Microneedling to anyone thinking about it I would definitely book sessions with Nicola again in the future you can guarantee she is very professional and has a vast knowledge of aesthetics and the promotion of skin health and is able to advise which treatments will achieve the best outcomes for you.
